Wasila: Your Tool For Reflection
When was the last time you sat down and truly reflected on the words of Allah? Do you find yourself reading His words but not really taking the time to think and digest It's guidance.
Reflecting on Allah's message is an integral part of the deen and is essential to becoming to more aware of our actions in this dunya and what awaits us in the afterlife.
In the Qur'an, "Wasila" is used to refer to something that brings one closer to Allah and His favor and that is exactly what this set of cards will do for you.
The Wasila Deck consists of 80 cards each with a unique ayah. Each ayah was specifically curated for the purpose of provoking deep thought and reflection. The cards are divided into four categories and color coded for easy identification:
Green: Faith (Iman)
Yellow: Forgiveness & Repentance
Blue: Day of Judgement & Afterlife
White: Various topics
How to Use: We recommend setting aside 30 minutes (45 min- 1 hour is ideal), grab your journal and Qur'an and select a card. After reading the ayah on your selected card, begin writing on what the ayah is saying to you and the lesson/message that you are receiving from it. Then open your Qur'an and read a selection of the ayahs before and after the one on your card for context.
